Pastor Camille Russell Wooden (“Pastor Camille, as she is more affectionately known) is a native of Dallas, Texas where she first accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the pivotal age of 13.

Attending the University of Texas in Austin, she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1992.  Through commitment and obedience to the Lord, she was led to Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena excelling in ministry and music.  In 1996 Pastor Camille received her Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling.

Ordained at Faithful Central Bible Church, Pastor Camille worked with the counseling, preaching and teaching ministries there.  She also developed the Discover Your Purpose Ministry that assist members in understanding their spiritual gifts, their purpose in life and their ministry function in the Body of Christ.

Hearing the call to plant a church, Pastor Camille, partnered with Faithful Central Bible Church and the Evangelical Covenant Church to plant Abundant Life Covenant Bible Church in 2003.  Since its inception Abundant Life has been and continues to be a church where people learn to Live A Life Worth Living. 

Pastor Camille also serves as Chaplain for the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks, President of CRW Ministries and is the current 1st Vice President for the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Greater Pasadena.

Pastor Camille’s love for people is apparent.  She pastors, teaches, preaches and counsels, while challenging and encouraging individuals to live up to the potential that Christ longs to see. This is her passion, this is her desire, THIS is her ministry.

Pastor Camille is married to Mr. Barry Wooden and they have one son Ezekiel.  They currentlyreside in West Covina, California and share a vision of love, ministry and life.
